I have been trying to not gorge on the bad things and the triggers for the last few months. I haven't been this stable in years. I know everything is good in moderation and yesterday for the first time in two years I had prime rib with yorkshire pudding for my bday supper and my god. Having just that little bit of red meat and not getting even slightly ill was great. Best birthday present ever!!

Wow, that's HUGE! You're absolutely right about it being the best b-day present. It's as if for just that one meal you had a "normal/regular" tummy without IBS! Super cool!
I love Prime Rib myself so I know exactly where you're coming from my friend.

New person here.. but just want to say Happy Birthday. I know how you feel because last night I had a WHOLE hot dog for the first time in two years and I was terrfied that I would wake up sick... but 24 hours later... so far so good! (I know hot dogs are not prime rib but I LOVE hot dogs. It's the kid in me!
