Some holiday cheer (pictures of Christmas tree)....

I'm having a hard time grasping that Christmas is coming so quickly. I thought it might be a good time to try to spead some holiday joy so I'm posting a picture of my Christmas tree. We're living in our new house now and it's 4 times the size of the old one so I actually have 3 Christmas trees but this is my favorite one. Photobucket

I've always wanted to have a white tree so this year I treated myself. I fell in love with the red & pink decorations from Pier 1. Unfortunately they cost anywhere from $4- $10 each so I couldn't afford as many as I would like, but it still looks nice. My husband said that he doesn't mind the hot pink (as long as we can have blue next year )!!

My other trees are a (fake) green tree with the traditional green & red decorations and the third one is a mini turquoise tree that I have sitting on my kitchen countertop.

I would love to see everyone's trees and decorations and to hear about your holiday plans.

I love love LOVE white trees!! Yours is so pretty... I'm completely jealous!

Our tree is very silly this year... we're going to my mother's for a few days for Christmas, leaving behind 2 mischievous cats who like to mess with decorated trees. So instead of a full-size tree, I busted out my little 3-footer and decorated *that*, figuring that we could pick the whole thing up and put it in Adam's office before we leave.... and not come home to a mess of broken glass and injured cats!

Adam's teased me an awful lot about this tree. LOL!

It's a shame you can't see the colored lights... it's quite pretty, for a silly tree.

This a 7.5' PURPLE PVC Pipe Christmas tree. I couldn't resist. And for anyone who wonders why I'd spend money on such an eyesore...I love purple and it was $2.00. That's right, 200 pennies.

That's seriously way too cool. I mean it. I wouldn't have been able to resist, either!

*Where* did you find a purple PVC tree??

You may notice there aren't many ornaments at the bottom... that's because our 2-year-old son thinks it's fun to take ornaments on and off the tree. He only gets the unbreakable ones! Now I just need to get some of these Christmas gifts wrapped so the tree doesn't look so lonely!

I don't think your tree is silly at all Casey! I get the cat thing, my dogs could care less about the tree but we have had to rescue big boy (12 pounds of Persian kitty) twice now from the upper branches! Luckily, Will secured it very well and he hasn't managed to topple it!

Well, since we are a poor graduate student couple...we weren't going to have a tree at all. However, we found one for 2 pounds ( around 4 $)!!
Here it is:)

That's it! I've gotta get my tree up. You have all given me some inspiration. I love all the trees - especially hohoyumyum's and cheyl's!

I have a full-size star on my 3-foot-tall tree and my boyfriend has made fun of me mercilessly about it! I don't care - I think it's cute!!

(We do normally use a full-size tree... why was I going to go buy a smaller star? LOL)

It's so fun to see the trees because they are an extension of each persons personality. After looking at the rest, I think I may be too anal!

I agree!

We have our tree up but it looks sort of...naked. It needs more decorations. This is the first time we've had room for a tree since we've been married, and there just aren't enough decorations yet.

Oops, kinda cut off the top We cut down a Blue Spruce this year and boy is it fragrant! What a day too. It was like 57 degrees! I'm loving our weather here in PA. It can stay this way until March! I could take snow only on Christmas Eve, then it can be spring again!
