Hi all, just a quick question..I am obviously pain predominant IBS w/ D but no longer have problems with D--haven't had D in months, which is wonderful but the pain continues (daily but not severe). Does just abdominal pain constitue an "IBS attack" or does it have to be accompanied by the rest of the glorious symptoms? I know it is a strange question but I just need to understand better.

Thanks again,

Sufie

Well, I'd have to say that pain is probably more of a symptom, than an attack. Attacks can be accomponied by pain. I know what you feel like, I still get pain like that too.
