I'm going to the foot surgeon this morning to see how well my foot has healed - it has finally healed over at least. I am lacking mobility though and I am still walking with a cane when it involves more than 6 steps.

I woke up with nightmares all night last night and I don't know if it is anticipation for the dr's appt, or stress from work. My tummy is all spasms and fluttery. I have a whopper of a headache and I feel general like cr@p. Blah.

I'll update you all later!

I hope everything goes well with the surgeon, and that you feel better.

Thanks for all the happy thoughts!! Wish I had remembered them while I sat for 2 hours and 45 minutes waiting to see the surgeon for all of 2 minutes.
My foot is healed enough the dr. is encouraging walking as much as I can tolerate without my cane (which I do at work and home anyways). He said that the sensation should eventually come back in my pinky toe and along that side of my foot too, but he doesn't know about the big toe side. (Both sides have been numb since the surgery Sept 26)
Then he left. What a wait for such a quick visit!
I guess that I am cleared to start back at the pool - which I will do after Christmas as there are only 2 weeks left of sessions before the break. I miss my work-outs - I haven't been going since April when my ibs was really flared up.

I still feel lousy though. My headache progressed itself into a migraine by about 9 this morning. My least-sympathetic boss even asked if I'd like to go home - guess I look that bad! Didn't help that when I called the DH to drive me back to work he freaked out b/c I was over an hour longer at my dr's appt than I anticipated. I can't help it!! I had tried to call his office to let him know, but he had already left for lunch. So now grumpy is in the living room and I'm in the computer room. We're keeping our distances! The mood won't last, I know, but I already feel like cr@p I don't need him to add to it.

Anyways, I've babbled enough. Thanks for the support, as always!

Love ya!
