I just broke a bottle full olive oil all over the kitchen floor. I can't seem to get it cleaned up. It's still all greasy and oily...tracking on my feet. I think I tracked it onto the carpet because it still seems to be "stuck" onto my feet and hands.
Does anyone have any good tips on how to clean up this oil spill??? I feel so oily! I ran out of paper towels, too. I'd appreciate any help.
I tried googling this, but came up with nothing. UGH...my hands, shirt, feet....everything feels so oily. It just kind of sticks to you...despite water.
TIA

this is gonna sound weird, but go get some really cheap bulk oatmeal, as i am assuming that you don't have sawdust lying around, the oatmeal soaks up the grease, thats what we use at work.

That's just regular old Quaker Oats or something, right?

rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover might help clean up your hands and if it won't ruin your floor you can wipe that down with it too.

Vinegor works well on most floors to get greasy stuff up!
