A little elbow grease does go a long way. When the appraiser gave us the appraisal off of our plan set the appraisal came back at twice what we were taking the loan out for. I'm interested to see what it is when we are finished with the house. It makes you feel good when something you built is worth so much, but I am worried about what it's going to do to our property taxes. My husband's family owns a furniture shop so he has grown up learning to build out of wood. He is making all of our cabinetry and a lot of our furniture (head boards, sofa table, etc.). I can't wait to sit back and enjoy the finished product.
My job is exciting and I get to travel just enough that it keeps it fun & new. I have been in Michigan a couple of times this year, Chicago a couple of times, Florida, and numerous locations around the midwest. I am very lucky to have been given the opportunity. It is a fresh-mex restaurant. I eat there anywhere from 2-4 times a week. I love the food, it's pretty safe for the tum, and I can't get enough of it!
