I checked every day after Monday to see if you posted! Congratulations!!! I love the name Mia too. So pretty. Just like her I'm sure!
Lots of luck with her. Get some sleep if you can! Lucky you got painkillers! I had a 3rd degree episiotomy and got NO painkillers! AND I had a 3rd degree with the second one too! Talk about "why me?"!!! It was killer trying to get around so I can feel for ya!!!

Congratulations! Hoping everything is going well. Getting lots of sleep when you can! For the episiotomy can you not put some ice on it. If you wrap ice in a maxi pad and put it there it might give you some relief! I remember after having my daughter the nurse would crack this pad and I would put it where the episiotomy was and it was so cold it was a huge relief. I remember healing really fast with this! Take care of yourself and Mia (beautiful name by the way) and yes the milk will come soon. Sue

Congratulations!! Gosh, it seems like just yesterday that your little baby timeline started on your posts and I remember thinking how far away it seemed and now you have your daughter! I can't wait to see pictures and I'm so glad that everything went well - hope you're feeling back to normal soon enough.
Can't wait to hear all the great tales of Mia now as she grows up and does cute things. What's she going to be for halloween??

Little girls are SOOOO wonderful!
I'm really happy for you! It didn't sound too bad at all. Please post pics when you can, baby. And SLEEP for God's sake. Do not stay up staring at her, as I did with Kayleigh for four months!LOL!

Here are two pictures---most of my pics are of her sleeping since that's what she does most of the time. Taking care of a newborn is hard work! But last night she slept in her crib in her room for the first time and did great. I actually got probably 6 hours of sleep altogether, and I feel much better today. Hopefully it keeps going this way!
The first picture is right after I delivered. You can't tell how much pain I had just gone through, which is good! She was very alert right at first. The second is home in her pack and play.
