I'm getting ready for the surgery on my left foot Wednesday (for tarsal tunnel syndrome and plantar fascitis). I am anxious to get it over with! One big worry---that only you all would understand----is my fear of not being able to get to the bathroom in time, on my crutches! I was awake in the middle of the night, worrying about this.
Maybe I will sleep on the bathroom floor for the first week. Ha!

Good luck with the surgery!! I remember a couple of years ago when I fell and was on crutches for almost 3 months, it was awful and I had a couple of anxious moments hobbling to the potty but I did always make it, sometimes just barely!
You will probably be on pain pills for a little bit and they are sure to slow things down so hopefully it won't be too much of big deal! Love and hugs!

Yeah, let's hope the meds don't slow things down too much, because I'm normally C. Lately, I've had more D though!!!

I wish you the best of luck!! I go next Tues for foot surgery - bunionnette and bursa removal. I totally sympathize!! 2 years ago I couldn't use crutches when they did the big toe bursa - I had to slide on my knees on a pillow across the laminate flooring!! Yep, a couple of anxious moments for sure - then I had to hop!
Take care,
Cassandra

At least use a sleeping bag on the bathroom floor You'll probably be fine. It seems that when I have some other type of ailment on my body other than my tummy, I focus on that and my IBS is mysteriously gone for the time being. Maybe that will happen to you for at least a week or so to get you through the crutches time. Then you can hop!
