Hi everyone! I feel like I've been interviewing for teaching jobs for the past 2 months straight, and nothing has panned out yet! The school year is quickly approaching and I'm beginning to get nervous about supporting myself. I had a couple of interviews over the past month for elementary literacy jobs that were exactly what I was looking for, but both of them went to candidates with more literacy experience! This afternoon I got a last minute call asking me to come in tomorrow for an interview for a middle school special ed job. Middle school isn't my ideal, but this late in the game I'm just very thankful to have a possibility for any teaching jobs!! Plus I do have the experience in special ed, so hopefully that makes me more "employable". Please keep me in your thoughts around 2:30 tomorrow afternoon. Good vibes appreciated!

I felt pretty good about it, but I haven't heard back yet! The principal was a very serious and kind of stern guy, and I have more of a kind and compassionate teaching style, so maybe he didn't think I'd "click" well. Who knows. But the job sounded really good, so I'm still crossing my fingers. I'll keep you posted!
Did I ever mention that I hate waiting?
