This is my first time on a message board, wasn't really sure where to go. I can't seem to get any answers from my doctors about this at all. I was in the ER the other night for a sudden bladder infection, and the next day my family doctor said I had diverticulitis. I've sort of been expecting it with my IBS-D. But with the sudden bladder infection on top of it... And it seems like no doctor will give me an actual answer to why this has happened, or if I should be concerned. Is there anyone with any ideas out there? I'd really appreciate it.

I'd don't know a lot about this (seems I don't know too much at all today! ) but my grandma has it. I understand it to be a pocket or a little piece of intestine that turns inside out. I know she isn't supposed to eat nuts or grainy things as irritates it but they haven't suggested surgery or anything like that.

Taking it one day at a time.....

Thanks for the reply, by the end of the day I will know everything there is to know about it. Hopefully It's a good thing I don't like nuts!
