So, I know I have said this so many freaken times but I love the hypno cds.. They have done so much but my question is, what is considered a *normal* BM?? Since starting the cds I don't have D anymore.. I still get some mild cramping, minor pain (nothing I can't handle) but then it ends up being a formed bm with zero pain afterwards.. I have one BM with almost normal timing.. I haven't been quite this regular in I don't know how long, but is the pain normal? Again, it's not that bad.. I'm just wondering..

i've only heard normal terms given for frequency - from 3 times a day to once every three days. in terms of pain, when i'm stable i sometimes have cramping right before i have to go, too, which i didn't have before ibs. i don't think the pain is "normal," but for an ibs person, i think it's okay. we can hope we get past it in time, but if it's more annoying than a real problem, and it doesn't interfere with living life, i think we're okay.

It's just another lovely symptom of IBS. L-Glutamine helps me for the pain and so does regular fiber. If you're in the middle of the hypno program, I would finish it before trying anything else. I'm glad that you're feeling better.
