hey lovelies. i've been lurking a lot, not actually posting too much, but still around. work's been busy, and i've been all caught up in the upcoming surgery. which, did i mention, is in three hours!! (my ibs has also been pretty under control, which has been great.) since you all were so important to me being able to have the courage do this, i wanted to let you know. i'm a little nervous, but mostly just anxious to do it - and hungry, since i haven't eaten or drank since midnight! send me positive thoughts, prayers, or whatever's your thing, around 2pm. i'll let you all know how i am on the other side.  much love.

(and up at 3am at the call of vicodin... ) thanks, ladies. things went really well yesterday. i didn't puke after surgery (my biggest fear beforehand), and i felt pretty fine all evening. i'm mostly just very very sore, but i'm happy. the vicodin doesn't knock me out, so i feel like myself, just after the most intense pushups of my life. the doctor was really happy with how things went - hopefully i will be, too. more updates as they happen, and i promise to be a better board person again, soon. much love.
