Does anyone have a problem with biting their fingers when they feel anxious or tense?

That's why I always have a tube of cinnamon toothpicks in my pocket. I buy them online at half the price I could get them locally. No matter where I am I have some toothpicks in my pocket.

I've been biting my nails since I can remember! I actually stopped last November and grew them nice and purtty until I got a puppy in March and then had no time to mainain them. I was sooooooooo disappointed in myself. It's a hard habit to kick. Unfortunately I somehow passed it down to my 11 year old son He picks his fingers and finger nails. Doesn't bite them like me. It's definitly a nervous habit!

Thanks Lisa....us nervous nellies have issues don't we now. I bite the skin mostly when my mind is idle, or when I'm bored, or uptight. Yeap, its a problem.

I bite my nails all the time.. Mostly as a nervous habit or just simply when I get annoyed with them being too long (and trying to type with them) if I could remember to keep nail clippers and a file maybe i'd bite them less...
