Anyone own one? What do you think?

Also, is it compatable with car seats? I have a nine-month old and plan on getting pregnant again this fall, so we'll have two in car seats for a period.

I've only heard good things about Jettas so far...
I currently own a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer and am spending $400/mo on gas. Getting a little ridiculous.

$400....OUCH!! I WAS spending about $280-300 with my Malibu... (I would not recomend one of those)....

I've not looked into the Jetta... so I would like to see what others think.

Did your Volvo survive and were you able to get your Jetta?

I bought a jetta last week! it is soo soo cute, and I've heard great things about them (cross your fingers that mine is great too). I don't pick it up until tomorrow, so I can't say how fabulous they are yet, but I'd definitly go check them out and give it a test drive.

Rachel.. I'm picking up the car tomorrow.. I haven't set foot in the volvo since last wed night (i've been away in Virginia visiting family) and will have to drive it to the dealer tomorrow. I'm very scared! GOOD thoughts would be appreciated please.

Nomorepooch, where's your pooch go, and how did you get rid of it?

Jules,

All I know from everyone who has kids is that sedans are really uncomfortable for negotiating car seats. Maybe you should consider a small SUV instead?

That's so funny. For some reason I've been thinking you were a guy - like Jules, the french name. So the pregnant thing kinda threw me.

As for Jettas, I've never owned one but also think they are really nice-looking.

I talked with my bil and sil about their jetta. They got rid of it because baby #2 was on the way... :0(

LOL about thinking I was a guy. My name is Julie and I've always been called Jules as a nickname.
