Just wondered if there is anyone here still doing Weight Watchers? I switched to "Core" and have to use my WPA to get my SF foods into each meal. The flex points were making me so compulsive with daily tracking I became a nervous wreck. I've lost 3lbs the first week of Core. I've done Heather's diet for almost a year so knowing what I can't tolerate helps. They want you to eat Whole wheat products and I have to modify that part somewhat. So far so good.

I have never tried Core, but glad to hear it's working for you. I've thought about trying it, but I lost my weight on Winning Points (before the Flex system), and am sort of stuck in my ways!

Yes, I'm still on WW. I think I'll be on it forever. Yes, I'm losing weight, but VERRRRRRRRY slowly, much slower than anyone else I know on the program. (I have no metabolism at all!)

I'm on the core program; I've never done the flex. Yes, I keep track of everything I eat every day in a food journal in my computer. I don't find it compulsive because I used to do the same with Heather's program, so I'm used to it; I just switched over, continuing the IBS food journal. By now, though, I pretty much know how many points I'm having, so, even though I never miss recording everything I eat, I'm not real good at totalling up my daily allotment.

I do well with whole wheat, and in fact, I HAVE to have whole wheat because of my diverticulosis; the more fiber I can get down me, the better. I never eat white bread. I also consume a lot of salad, fresh fruit and fresh veggies. I was surprised to discover that it agrees with me so well; it's a good thing.

However, I can't tolerate any of the WW processed products at all; they contain too many chemicals, heaven-forbid dairy, artificial sweeteners, and HFCS. I've had some real nasty IBS attacks from their products! So I make my own dishes using the WW online recipes and their cookbooks. I don't go to the meetings; I do the online program exclusively. I like it especially because I can convert any recipe to points. I keep a separate WW binder that contains all the printed-out recipes I've converted; it's getting HUGE.

Hubby is delighted; he's lost twice what I have! Typical male; why is it that they can lose so much easier than us females?

Keep on truckin', Franny.

Bevvy, I love the online program. Converting recipes is one of my favs too. Today I made sushi and it turned out great. The Jaz rice isn't Core but it agrees with me. Take care and enjoy!
