10 year school reunion

I have my 10 year school reunion tomorrow night and I"m like a little kid before Christmas - nervous, excited, anxious!!! argh

Mine is next Aug. I have to be honest I am not looking forward to it. Two of my friends just found out they are pregnant with their thirds in June. They aren't sure if they want to go with their babies. They nurse and won't leave them. Tory didn't go to his two years ago so I don't even know what to expect. I do know where it is and I would love to see some people. There are a couple people I would prefer to NEVER see again.

You know...Don said there was some people he would rather not see too...but people grow up and change and probably will be super nice...that's what Don found.
Also - later in the day and evening people break off into the "cliques" so you don't have to be around people you don't like all the time.
I can't wait for mine....it will be so exciting! Only 4 more years~

I'm still debating whether to go to my 10 yr. I am curious as to what happened to people after high school and how many come back with 10 yr old kids. My high school wasn't in the best neighborhood.
That's the reason I watch Cops, though - just to see my old friends from high school running in their white tank tops and pants halfway down to get away.

I remember my dad telling me the same thing before. He said there are people you didn't really get along with in high school, and people grow up and change, and now he's sees them around sometimes around town, and they stop and talk to each other.
My high school was so pathetic...we didn't even have a 10 year reunion. Yah - my 10 year should have been last year so to heck with all you youngsters!!

Oh Heck, the countdown is on!!! I'll be sure to let you all know what it's like. There's not really anyone that I don't want to see (ok, maybe one). My boyfriend has done up 14 cd's of songs from our highschool years that people requested. I"ve done up a collage of school photos. It's a 3 course meal, with old school videos playing and a bar. There's also 2 big parties afterwards and a recovery breakfast!!!
I"m off to the hairdressers in a few hours and then make the 1 hr 30min trip to my old town.
Boy oh Boy, I really hope it goes well!!!!

It was absolutely UNREAL!!!! Funny how you're immediately drawn to the same good buddies you were with in highschool - and funnily enough, we went straight back into highschool mode (some checking out the guys), some of us gossiping and talking about the outfits and people there etc etc.....
Spent hours talking to a range of people - catching up wiht familiar faces and then forging new friendships. Even some of our teachers came. We got a photographer to come in and take a whole group photo so can't wait till it arrives in the post.
After the reunion, we went around to a person's place and stayed up talking to 3am. Went back there the next day to swap contacts and see everyone again....
It was such a shame it had to end, but we've decided to go out to coffee on the same date each year and I've rekindled some great friendships!!!! My boyfriend was unreal - we sang along to old school songs on the drive, he brought me a necklace to wear and had a ball!!!

That's so great! I'm so glad you had a great time. I was wondering how you made out. The weirdest thing was this weekend I ran into someone I went to school with and hadn't seen since I was in 7th or 8th grade. He was at a birthday party for my godchild - how weird was that! LOL Anyway, it made me wonder how your reunion was going.
