First of all, incase anyone is curious - you actually have to buy lotto tickets to win a million dollars! So that's why I haven't won yet LOL

I would just put the money in the back...it is a rumor that by the interest alone a person could make enough money to pay all his bills and everything easily a month.

I would not quit my job....And if I did it would only be to start something that I truly enjoy like a craft store or something.

Your turn!

I was just thinking about that this week. What would I really do? I would love to say just pay off all our bills and give the rest of the money away. Let's face it, it would be hard not to buy a new house and have fun shopping. Unfortunatly all of that is just stuff. That is why I would never win. That and not playing the lotto doesn't help

I would definitly work part time. Come in to work around 10ish so I could sleep in and then leave around 4ish. I'd also buy myself a house with a cute little yard so I could grow tons of plants and start my own garden (something I plan to do one day).

Boy you guys are way better people than I am!! I would quit my job and move someplace tropical until I got tired of laying around on the beach! Of course there would be plenty of money for my family and friends! But can you believe I'm 33 and have NEVER bought a ticket!

I LOVE to garden and have a huge garden! I got so carried away when we bought our house and planted and planted and planted...(mind you I had NEVER planted anything before that!)Be carefeul not to plant more than you can weed, trim, prune, pick, fertilize, deadhead, water, de-bug....

When your ready for some flower advice, just let me know!

Oooh thanks Michelle! Since I live in an apartment, my gardening is limited to my balcony. LOL And plus it's winter time so I don't know of any good winter veggies to plant. Any suggestions?

I currently am trying to grow parsley and chives because I figure I could use those all the time as garnishments. The parsley was a plant when I got it and is not growing or dying, while my chives are just starting to sprout up.

I can't wait till spring time when I can plant others. I'm moving in May to another apartment - but am definitly going to look for one with a huge patio or balcony in sunlight.

... you have the best ideas for topics on this board!!! How do you come up with such good ideas? I love this one.

I'm not sure what I'd do but I wish I was selfless enough to donate it all to worthy charities.

Unfortunately I think I would probably:

Pay off my house
Buy a new car
go on a really nice holiday
treat the people I love to something each
make some donations
get some good advice on the best way to invest the rest

I too, would not quit work. i only work part time so it's not too stresful and I enjoy it.

Buy a nice house by the beach and open up a beauty salon.

Give everyone in my family enough money to pay off their houses.

Buy gifts for the people special to me.

Donate some to charity.

Go on a holiday.

Study part time for pure interest reasons (and not for a job)

I don't know how I come up with them...I have just been brainstorming.

Except for the Traditions one....that one was a misunderstanding between Torbetta and myself...I thought she wasn't going to post it so I did. OOOPPS!!

So she gets the credit for that one...but I don't know...guess I was extra creative today LOL

Don't feel bad Michele - I have never either...

I feel kinda bad everyone is mentioning charity and I am talking about keeping it all and living off the interest - How selfish am I? LOL

But I am thinking if I have the interest and my job cash I would be able to still buy people gifts.

Just wanted to clarify LOL

I don't do too many veggies, mostly flowers and a few herbs! My kitties are addicted to my home grown cat nip! I do well with herbs in my windows over the winter, don't be afraid to cut them the more you cut the more they grow! Don't forget the tarragon, its really good with chicken!

The creative ideas must come from those pregnancy hormones? Or maybe the weather yesterday? What do you think?
