Did you guys know this existed???

I didn't look through it though. I was on my way out after spending almost an hour there. I love "reading" books on the floor of a bookstore, cheaper than buying them.

I read the pages it posted, and it it good of good definitions, but says that while gluten intolerance is inherited, dairy intolerance isn't. Huh? My dad, grandmother and great aunt are all dairy intolerant and so am I. Denying a genetic link is just silly.

Maybe IBS might be taken more seriously after this book, but there are better ones out there for those who know to look, I think. "The Fibromyalgia Supporter" is my new favorite read. Melissa lent it to me to read aloud to my BF.

I hadn't seen the IBS one, but I have the Fibromyalgia one. The fibro one is a good, broad overview of things to keep in mind and what's out there.

I think that came out in November. I looked through it because I was thinking about getting it...but by the time it was published, I'd gotten things pretty well under control following the diet and reading our wonderful boards!

It did seem less confusing than some of the other books out there, but I'm stickin' with Heather and you guys!

...this weekend and read through it. I wonder if it correlates to what this site suggests.

That's the problem with the one I go to, there are NO chairs anywhere! I need to find a bigger one with chairs!
