He now has to go to Milton - even further into the storm to take the car to the insurance's preferred body shop. Fortunately, the snowplow didn't really hit the back end of the car, it just sort of scraped along the driver's side - taking out both windows. I don't know how extensive the damage is on the side. Plus, he was on the roadside because the engine failed, so we have to deal with that, plus the front windshield has to be replaced.
And then, the goof still thinks he can make a 2:00 meeting in Markham (even further into the storm)!!!!!!
I told him to stay put and get a hotel until this blows over. Maybe if it lets up later today he'll drive home.
Sigh.
Still counting my blessings. The only thing that matters is he's OK.

Alicia,

I am so glad that he is ok. The whole situation sounds very frustrating but you are right about counting your blessings. It could have been much worse. Very scary indeed.

I'm so glad he's ok! Things can happen so quickly and it could have easily have gone the other way. Give him a hug from me, and yourself one too!!!!

You must be very much in tune with your surroundings and your hubby's life to have seen something coming! Good for you. It's a wonderful odd power, isn't it! Just goes to show everybody how in synch you are with what's going on.

I'm so sorry! That must be so stressful but I'm really glad that he's ok...that is definately priority 1. Isn't the weather terrible? I'm just sitting here in my living room and have heard two large cracks of thunder AND seen a flash of lightening. I mean, what the heck is going on?

I'm so glad that he is ok
