When we left Nelly last week, she was still trying to get her fibromyalgia treatment, a shot in her leg...

So I spent the day at the free health clinic and sailed through the eligibility for treatment interview. The gave me their "earliest appointment available" -- March 21st. I have to wait until then to even be seen by a doctor. Oh well, two hours well spent.

So I had lunch with BF and Johnny, a friend who's afraid of nothing, and guess what? Our friend gave me the B12 + Glutathione + AMT shot! I baked him a chocolate cake as a thank you (actually he just pushed in the plunger.... I loaded the shot, primed it, swabbed the area and stuck it in ).

Johnny said if he got cake every week he'd have no problem doing it again next time. He's jumping around all pumped up to do it again right now. Cake well spent.

~nelly~ (Meanwhile, BF remains huddled in the corner, whimpering.)

A cake a week for just pushing a plunger? That guy has it made.

Perhaps he can split it with the BF, to tempt him out of his corner?

Congrats.. i'm glad this worked out for you..

After I read your last post, I was cracking up hours later picturing you walking into a clinic with a shot of "heroine" telling them to SHOOT YOU UP!

A man that can be bribed with cake is alright in my book!! Glad to hear it went a little better. I'm sure once you've had it a few more times, you'll be able to do it yourself but its great that you've found someone to help! Phewy on the drs at the clinic!

It's so weird poking yourself, isn't it?

I find it's easiest first thing in the a.m. and when you don't HOLD YOUR BREATH.

However, truly, the B12 really does make you feel better, especially when you have less than an infant!

Good bribe, though, Nelly. I'm crossing my fingers for you!

Lol, the eyes of needles! I get blood work done every other week and honestly, it's worst in the winter. The cold makes it harder for the nurse to find a vein.

Kate.
