It is difficult to be the only one in the house with Ibs and everyone else my wife and 6 and 7 year old daughters are paying some price in understanding. Even though my wife supports me my 7 year old Kristian is paying the highest price for my ibs safe pantry. Any direction will help help.

I think your daughter is learning to eat a healthy diet. Have your wife check out the recipe section on the site. You'll all benefit.

Why is your daughter "paying the highest price for [your] ibs safe pantry"? Does she like cookies? How about Rice Krispie Treats? Brownies? Cake? What?

There doesn't have to be an empty pantry. Heather's Rice Krispie Treats are awesome -- do a search and you'll find the SIMPLE recipe. I add cocoa to mine, so they're chocolately. Yum!

The ADBs ("Anti-Depressant Brownies") are awesome. Ditto with my oatmeal raisin cookies. OMG! To die for.

Have you checked out the Recipe Board Index? You'd be AMAZED at all the yummies in there!

Don't cook? Okay then, Quaker makes peanut butter choco chip rice cakes that are FABULOUS! Don't like sweets? Okay, then, Quaker makes plain rice cakes. I even like the cheddar and the ranch, and the tiny bit of dairy in them doesn't bother me. However, if you can't tolerate dairy, obviously pass on 'em.

How about Veggie Stix? I have to get them at the health food store, but it's worth it, 'cause they're AWESOME. If you do a search, you'll find 'em in here.

If you can be a little more specific, Gregory, about exactly what your daughter is missing, I'd be willing to bet we could find a super recipe that she'd love.

Unless she's just eating only things like bread, potatoes, and crackers, she's probably eating healthy meals. Maybe she's just upset that she doesn't have her junk food anymore?

Why not pull up the page on the Recipe index looking at desserts or muffins or whatever and let your little girl pick a new treat?
