I'll start...

- Tommy taking such good care of me and being the BEST hubbie ever!

- all of my Ottawa friends that have stayed in touch with me

- my parents supporting me (emotionally) and helping me out with the wedding plans

- living in a place where there's no snow in the winter!! (so far...)

- having a wonderful ibs family

- other than my ibs, my health has been very good (no colds or flu) knock on wood...

- having two great cats, even though they don't much like each other, ha ha

I'm thankful for...

- Adam. 2 1/2 years of living together and I'm still all googly-eyed.

- Adam's dad. He has his quirks, but the more I get to know him, the more I agree with my dad's opinion that he's "a heluva guy".

- Snow! It's snowing!

- Heather, this site, these boards, and you guys, because my IBS is stable enough that I can eat things like the massive delicious salad that I'm noshing on right now.

- The most wonderful friends a girl could ever ask for.

- My awesome, amazing, inspiring, silly, loving, fantastic family, who adores me as much as I adore them.

- My creativity. I always encourage everyone I know to develop a creative hobby of SOME kind, because there's nothing in the world that compares to the feeling of accomplishment and pride you get when you look at something and say, "OMG, I **MADE** that!" I am so incredibly thankful that my parents ALWAYS encouraged my creative endeavors.

- The pretty roof over my head, the nutritious food in my belly, and the basic medical care that I do get. None of it is perfect, but it could be so much worse.

- The cats and the rats! Not a day goes by that they don't all make me laugh out loud with their ridiculous antics.

- Teeccino and chocolate!

I think that's probably good for now...

Great post, Tina!

-my amazing job - i don't usually think of things in these terms, but i feel so *lucky* to be here, doing what i love.

-my apartment: roommates, kittens, and the place itself. i live with two people i love, i have the two sweetest, strangest kittens, and i somehow have an apartment in manhattan that is clean, beautiful, in a good neighborgood, and at a reasonable price.

-my best friend (also one of my roommates) - we're like an old married couple, and i don't know what i'd do without him.

-new york city.

-my mother, so loving and supportive and such a truly good person.

You always see the good things in your life! I admire that. Well, maybe not always...but pretty darn close!

* My family, who are amazing and support me wholeheartedly throughout all of my endeavors (even those that weren't too bright )

* Reconnecting on Friday night with my best friend from college with an evening of drinks, dining and a whole lot of talking.

* The Steelers for finally making a long awaited, and well deserved trip to the Super Bowl

* Working with children, who never cease to amuse me. Today a very pregnant coworker and I were talking in the hall and when she left she said good bye to two boys in the hall. As she was walking away one of the boys told his friend that they thought Ms. K was eating a few too many sweets lately. Hysterical (at least for me!)
