I've had a cold since Sunday & can't shake it! My throat pain keeps coming & going, I feel fine one night, then I'm sweating the next night, & this stinkin' congestion!! I'd take a med, but all they do is knock me out, so I'm taking Tylenol for my throat, which helps, but it's amazing how these suckers can hold on for sooo long. I know I'm not the only one sick around here, just need to vent my frustration!

I've had that scratchy throat on-and-off since New Year's. I guess I should consider myself lucky that it hasn't turned into more. Why can't there be vaccines for everything?!

Hey - I'm in the same boat, so at least you have company. The last couple of days have been all about the congestion, sore throat and coughing. I've probably gotten 8 hours of sleep in the past two nights. I just takes time to shake off. Take lots of zinc.

Alicia,
I definitely feel your pain, because I'm just recovering from pretty much the same thing, although I had terrible nausea in addition to the extreme D. This has now happened to me 3 times over the past 6 months, and I'm always confused as to whether it's an IBS attack or the flu. (Once I found out it was the flu because my husband got it, too.) How do you know it's the flu and not IBS? Also, apparently we IBSers are extra-sensitive to these flu bugs? Because I've only had IBS for 2 years and almost never in my life have I had experiences like these. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks,
Kristy
