So who are YOU rooting for? Here we were ready for church last Sunday
I also have to shout out for the Redskins, my favorite team growing up back in Va, love Joe Gibbs - if the Skins meet the panthers I'll be hard pressed to cheer against either
And have to cheer for our man Peyton Manning and the Colts - as old time UT fans we've loved Peyton since his Vols days and love seeing him succeed in the NFL (though sorry the panthers had to put lil bro Eli on his backside last week.... sorry Giants!) GO PANTHERS!!!

Me too Nel!!!! Just waiting for 4:30 to come today. I planned on wearing my Portis jersey today but our weather is just hateful today that I can't seem to get motivated to get out of my PJ's!
Heard today that they have like an 18% chance of winning. Not good, however, I never thought they'd beat Tampa Bay last week either. As they say, "on any given Sunday!". Let's hear it for the skins................GO REDSKINS!

Ashley, ya think I'd be at least some kind of Pennsylvania team router since I live in PA, however, I'm not. I don't dislike the Steelers I just am a Redskins fan Should be a great game though. I kinda think Indianapolis might win....sorry  Now if the Steelers make it to the Superbowl, I might just jump on the banwagon. I, however, never jumped on it when the Eagles were in it. I hate the Eagles. Yuck, blah! So needless to say, I'm in my glory this year since they did so bad

I used to be into it more when I went to the sports bars (in my younger drinking days)...lol But got more interested in College ball this last year... and then the Hawk's have had a great year...... So, if the Hawk don't go to the Super Bowl....I probably will not watch it... unless we are invited to a party or something.... Kinda sad...but hey...I'm being honest! LOL

I feel your pain. All of us here in the Carolinas are upset too. If the Redskins had won and the Panthers win their game tomorrow, then the Panthers would've played at home (HERE!!!) next weekend.
Now the Panthers will have to play on the road again, I think. Phooey!!!!

I have been a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan since Charlie Waters and Tony Dorsett (whoo??????????????????/) we playing. I have become good and disgusted plenty of times but I just love them.
Back when Troy Aikman, Emmit Smith and the others were there, it WAS Americas team. Anymore it isn't safe for me to wear my sweatshirt! Ha ha

Try being a Steelers fan in New England! You wouldn't even believe how many conceited fans contact me each day to tell me how much their team rocks (well not after last night.. but...), how they'll never lose, how they are so NOT used to losing, and my teams sucks!

I'm torn today! I don't want to see Indianapolis win AGAIN and hubby simply doesn't like the Steelers because he has obnoxious Steelers fans at work. He does admit though they are a strong team. We shall see in approx 1 hr huh!

I'm still depressed the skins lost, however, they did 100% better than last year so there is actually hope for us again next year!

I have to give kudos to the Pittsburg defense, but I still can't believe the Colts lost today after the season they have had.
I wish I could give Peyton and Tony Dungee both hugs right now - Im' so sad for them!!!

Ashly my hubby is a big steelers fan and I thought he was going to lose it yesterday. He was so excited that they won but then when we told him about Tony Dungee's son he felt really bad and said "Well geesh maybe they should have won". I told him that the game turned out the way it was meant too. If they Steelers make it to the Super Bowl I have a feeling I will be hosting a party!!
