When I have major C (like I have been!) I have to eat all the roughage I can muster and do my yoga (to get the gassies out) drink my fennel (gassies again) and use the heating pad( move the gassies and stop the pain!) None of the antispasmodics (sp) work for me.
As for the bladder...get checked for interstitial cystitis. This could be why your pain never goes away! There are also other bladder things it could be...some more serious...so see a urologist if you can. Also...check out the IC Netweork (do a googel search) for more info. on these things.
Oh...I hope we help you find wellness and peace and feel-goodness *hugs*
You're NOT alone...don't you forget it

I'm glad that the Neurontin helped with your IC pain! I told you it was good stuff for my anxiety but I didn't know that it could help with pain, too!
Well, I didn't have pain while I was taking it in the Navy, I was just taking it for anxiety. It did help with my anxiety but I could hardly work because it did make me feel "spacy", so I quit taking it. I wish I would have stayed on it, now....maybe I will tell my psych about it when I see him this month!
Glad to hear you're doing better!! *HUGS* Love ya! Michelle

I'm not on it anymore!!
it didn't touch my anxiety. My doc put me on geodon which is considered an anti-psychotic. this was hard for me at 1st...the name. But MAN it helps...so who cares?
It is good for bipolar in addition to major anxiety...so it's a double-goody.
My life will never be the same. I can think more clearly (though I do have a hard time accessign words) and my attitude is different. I'm not as paranoid. Life is SO much better and we haven't reached the goal-dose on the med.
I would encourage anyone with depression/anxeity to see a psychiatrist for a proper diagnosis! SOOO many ppl in the world have bipolar and anxietty and other such issues that go undiagnosed. It can take their life away. I'm SO thankful I go diagnosed. My life is WAY better....
Just my experience!

I'm so sorry you were in such pain. That is pure agony! Yes, you are right. We all understand what it's like, because, unfortunately, we've all been through the same thing. But that is what is great about this board. When no one else in the world seems to understand, we are here for each other!
I hope you are ok now. Maybe you can think back about the past several days and figure out what caused it. Sometimes I think it's a combination of things, and not just one thing.
((((Big hug))))
