We commemorate by lighting the candles. Children get to eat Chanukah gelt...though I'm not sure where that tradition started? (Of course adults can eat choloate too!!!!! ) And we play a Dreidle game and eat fried food (fried food to remember the oil that stayed lit for 8 nights instead of just one). It's FUN!
