Getting ready for my trip

I just wanted to let everyone know I will be off-line from the 22nd through the 1st. We leave for Lake Tahoe tomorrow morning. I'm trying to get excited about going but its a bit difficult. I know that Will needs this and it'll probably be a good diversion and I'm going to try and have some fun. I don't ski as I broke my leg the first time down the bunny hill when I was 16!   Can you say KLUTZ?? But, I might try an afternoon of tubing or sledding. I figure my butt is already on the ground so how much damage can I do to myself?? 
We get in very late on the 29th and I'll be picking Harley up as soon as I get up Friday the 30th!!! I can't wait to get my new fur baby!!!!!
On January 5th, I have a couple of dr's appts. The first one will be with my old internist to get my medications all straightened out. Then, after work, I see my shrink again.
So, in the meantime, I hope you all have a fabulous Holiday! And I wanted to thank you all again for all the support. Love and hugs to all!

Tahoe is so beautiful...even bundling up and taking a walk will offer you so much serenity and peace. I love Tahoe.
Make sure you take Will on a couple of walks with you!

Have a good time. Do your best, but don't expect to have a miraculously great fantastic time. It's OK if you don't feel up to it all. It's also OK if you get some relief from all the pain you've suffered - don't feel guilty about feeling better if you do!!!
Just relax, and let things be the way they're going to be, and accept how you feel each an every moment. It's OK. And don't forget about those naps!

I think everyone else has done a good job of givign you super advice and being a great cheering-section.
I hope you have a great time...I hope you enjoy yourself...I hope you take pics to show us of the snow and the sunsets!!  (I'm having snow withdrawl out here already!)
I hope you know how much we all love you and that all that love follows you to Tahoe and back!
Have a safe trip and a wonderful time and we will miss ya and will be here when you return (sorry Tommy but I couldn't resist...he;s right Michele we WILL be waiting for you when you get back!!!)
