Well NY just got scr3wed by the Transport Workers Union. They have shut the city down. Management is not off the hook either but they have been the ones to have budged off their original stances. So, NY is held hostage and now we just have to wait and see. I made it in but I am not happy.

I was thinking about you this morning, Tommy. Along with the other New Yorkers on the site.
How the heck did you make it to work?
What a lovely holiday gift the Union is giving you all! Bah Humbug!

Ack, that stinks! I'm not up on world happenings right now so wasn't aware of this at all. I can't imagine living in a city where you depend on city transport and than to not have that city transport. How are people supposed to get around??

And thing was, I was with the union up until the end. But they don't seem to be willing to give up anything.

Its the Long Island Railroad. I usually take that into the city then transfer to a subway.
