$1,500 big ones!!  Minus taxes $1,170.25  but still.....my goodness!! I will share $100 each with my Sister & Parents.... put the rest in savings until after the holidays..... I know I could use some new workout pants!!

I love to hear when people are sucessfull without a college degree! My boss is one of them. She easily makes 6 figures and got where she is with experience! There is hope for the non college goers! Now don't get me wrong, my boys are going to college whether they like it or not. I didn't go to college and neither did my hubby but as we got older we definitly could kick ourselves!!! We both have great jobs but always think we could be making more if we were "college educated".. These days it does seem it's harder to come by those jobs that pay great with no college degree!

I am just so proud of him. This is a very exciting time for us! I did the college thing and paid for it myself, and now I see that there are so many people who don't go that route. Sucess is def not dependant on the degree!! I loved my BF when he was living in his car (!!!) and I always knew he had a future. We jsut figured out a good formula where I manage the major finances and he concentrates on showing up and doing a good job + meeting expectations.
I do hope he's geting me health insurance for xmas tho...

i'm getting nothing, but again i work at red robin, we got a christmas party i didn't go to becuase everyone pretty much got drunk and dry humped eachother...fun....so i just hope my tables give me a little bonus when they tip me, you know....

but I get an annual bonus (performance related) in April every year, I got 15% of my pay last year which was fantastic.
I do get gifts from clients, mostly wine or champagne, they started arriving today and as the week goes on it gets busier and busier. I have three bottles so far and it's only Monday

He writes software that goes through millions of lines of data... they previously haven't been able to sort through it so this is the first time for the last 50 years of records keeping that they can now tell what the data really means. V v exciting.
