I'm headed to sunny arizona for xmas.
Far cry from freezing cold boston, with about a foot of snow on the ground already. YIIIIKES.
Some people say its not christmas without snow, but I think I'll make an exception this year I checked the weather and it averages 70 there. I'm gonna try and make sure I get a pedicure before I go bc I'll be breaking out the sandals for this trip.
What are ya'll doing?

Well, nowhere so non-snowy as Arizona, but we're spending Christmas Eve & Christmas Day with my husband's extended family. Then Christmas night, we're driving back home, just for overnight. Then, 26th, we're driving to Michigan to see my family. Does that sound insane enough? It was my husband's idea.

Though I will be getting a pedicure...
This is our first year in the new house and we just wanted to be at home. My mom and her husband are coming so it should be a nice time.
I am so thankful that there will be someone to help me with Christmas dinner! My daughter is a great help in the kitchen but there is nothing like mom to help out!

Mac and I are going to my parents' house just outside Richmond. Christmas day will be spent in Newport News at both my grandparents' houses. I only really get to see my family once a year now, so it'll be nice for that if nothing else.
Oh, and we're taking Gracie with us since no one will be around up here to feed here. 5 hours in the car each way, and my mom's cat who doesn't like other cats, should be fun

Yes we know, we know...where you are going ! To see your SWEETIE! Sickening how in love you both are ! Not really, I'm just kidding....Just jealous! (You guys are just the cutest together and deserve to be happy) Oh I remember those days of first dating and the feelings you have toward each other. 15 years I've been married and I still LOVE my husband to death and would NEVER trade him for anyone. Just miss the "newness" that you only get once with each other. Cherish it!!!
BTW.....Yeah Giants but also YEAH Redskins!!! Did ya see, did ya see, they won too!!!!!

I'm headed to my parents' place in northern Ontario (so there'll be lots of snow!). Leaving next week after my exams are done! But my partner is headed to HIS parents place in a few days, all the way in Edmonton (couldn't afford tickets for both of us ) so we'll be apart until New Years!

..my husband (!) and I are spending our first Christmas together- It's tradition that the first married Christmas is spent with the bride's family so we are going home to my parents' place about 2.5 hours from where we live. All my brothers and sisters (the 5 of them) will be there. I've spent every one of my 29 Christmases at home so far, but next year we will spend it with the inlaws. We are going to visit them on 27th this year to stay the night and then back to work on 28th.
My youngest brother who is 11 wasn't too excited to hear that he had to buy an extra gift this year since P is spending Christmas (even though he loves him and has great fun with him) and he warned me that it was cheating if P just put his name on the gift tag for what I was giving anyway! So, we had to explain that it will mean he will get a better gift, and he bought it. Tough audience.
