I LOVE:
Sushi (vegetarian with no avocado, usually needs to be made specially for me)
Aioli (death to my insides, especially with fries, but so delicious. I can't believe I used to have aioli and fries washed down with a latte for breakfast on weekends!)
Bagels with cream cheese
Mayo! I'm like Ashley's evil twin.
Ham and pineapple pizza
Sweet and sour sauce... but not the pork! I like it on fried rice
Monte Carlo biscuits
coconut curries
Korma curries
Dhal curries
Sweet'n'Tangy crisps (Kiwi made! )
ROMGosh PEANUT BUTTER M&MS~~! I only just found them here for the first time today, at twice the price of normal M&Ms because they're imported SOOOO GOOOOOD!
Reese's Cups (can only get them here very sporadically. I'm convinced I buy ALL the Reese's cups in Wellington when someone imports them)
Deep fried Japanese silken tofu with that horseradish stuff
Pears
Cucumber
Cabbage (wheeee! Makes I fart!)
Grain Waves (chips made of grains, deepfried tasty goodness. Well, it's got grains, so it's healthy right? RIGHT??)
Roti Chanai!! I have it a couple of times a week + peanut sauce for my roti breads. It's dicing with gastrointestinal "death", but I really love it.
NOT SO MUCH:
Red meat. Especially sheep. And awful fatty beef that makes the house smell like fat. Hawaiian pizza doesn't count as meat somehow.
Creamy cheeses eg camembert, brie. Also blue cheeses.
Celery
Coriander. Leaves are arse, seeds not so bad.
Most fish. I'll tolerate some if it's crumbed, deep fried and covered in tartare or tomato sauce.
Shellfish. Asking for food poisoning if you ask me. Which you didn't. Have I mentioned I'm emetophobic? lol!
Tamarillos
Mashed potatoes. In fact anything "Meat and three veg" style.
Meat pies (gross!)
Hot dogs (why do they smell like socks?)
Meat burgers, especially McDonald's. (seriously, why does meat smell so bad?)

The only thing I've found at a chinese restaurant that I can still safely eat *anytime* is what some places call the "Buddhist delight": steamed chicken and veggies, usually with a gingery sauce on the side. Honestly, it's bland and awful, and that's part of why I don't do Chinese anymore.
*Sometimes* I can do chicken chow mein. Big emphasis on sometimes. Ditto for moo shu vegetables. I have to be having a really stable day for any of that - lots of IF, and fat in the sauces & cooking.
But homemade, you can adapt just about anything!

Let's see...
I love in no particular order (including stuff I shouldn't eat anymore)...
Seafood, especially crab Thai Chinese Sushi (haven't had much other Japanese food) Lasagne Brocolli Snap peas Crisp green beans Curries A nice medium rare cow part Mexican Homemade chili Venison roast and venison burger Ham & cheese omlettes Dark chocolate Milk chocolate Tiramasu REAL bagels Cream cheese Fried chicken A baked potato with a dollop of sour cream chocolate cake Dessert Daquiries & frozen margaritas Red wine Sweet champagne Chicken Pancakes Oatmeal Smoothies Butter Corn on the cob Fruit
I don't like at all Celery Mushy Peas Overcooked green beans Overcooked brocolli Beef liver Over cooked green pepper
I'm not picky. I've always been a fairly adventurous eater, willing to try new things. In fact, people who won't try new things are a pet peeve, assuming they don't have allergies, IBS, intolerances, etc. I have an acquaintence who's told me point blank "Food isn't something you experiment with." She'd never make it with IBS.

I like your comments...I agree, hot dogs are kinda smelly, but what to expect when they are made of "and-or's" or byproducts....I must admit I still enjoy them every now and then , used to eating them as a child.
BTW, what is ailoi??

I can order pad thai (chicken or shimp), hobo noodle (chicken or shrimp), and tom yum noodle soup combo. Those are my 3 mainstays and egg rolls.
As for Chinese, I haven't had it for over a year from a restaurant because I had a horrific attack the last time I did, prediagnosis. Beef & brocolli...on an empty stomach. OMG. It was awful. At this point, I avoid Chinese restaurants just because of psychology. If not for that, I think I could handle it now.
However, I make stir fry at home about once a month and do just fine. I use chicken, bamboo shoots or water chestnuts, green beans, and carrots usually. I don't follow a recipe for the sauce, so it turns out different everytime.
