I thought it would be nice to know what everyones day is looking like today. So look out your window and tell us what you see right now.
As I look out my window behind my desk here at work I see blue sky with just a few clouds. Bright sunshine with the coolness of Fall in the air. The brightly colored leaves of the season are glistening in a gentle breeze. A little morning rush traffic is streaming by as squirrels are playing in the trees.

Dark and dreary for the third day in a row. I'm ready for the sun to come out and the leaves to be in full color. We have yellow and some pink peeking through. Hopefully, in another 10 days to 2 weeks, our landscape will be ablaze in color! This will be my third year "up north" where the leaves turn, and I can't wait! What many take for granted, I am still amazed by! Drive about 45 minutes north of Charlotte toward the mountains and it really gets pretty!!!!

Here in Blighty, it is rather cloudy and cool. There was some sunshine this morning and it was lovely and bright in my room. That's all gone now, so I'm turning lights and heating on! I live by a busy road, so there's always lots of traffic - roll on the day when I can move back to the countryside!

I can do this one! I love the view out our window.
If I look to the right I'm looking out our back picture window. It takes up the whole width of the wall and goes almost down to the floor, just one of those awesome big windows. Outside that I see our little fenced back yard, full of balls and trucks and a sandbox, and beyond that a pond with fountains going. It is drizzling out so the drops are gently hitting the water and it looks very peaceful. I actually don't mind a rainy day every once in a while!

I'm enjoying everyones descriptions....I agree with you, I love the country, too! We are fortunate enough to live far enough out to feel like the country but close enough to town to not be too far out. We live on a little over an acre.

I'm glad I asked this question....I love the Fall colors. We have some property in the mountains as a "get away" and it is so pretty right now.

Here, this morning the sun was also shining in my bedroom window but it has since turned grey. The trees are beautiful in yellow, there is drizzle in the air and the sound of military jets in the background as I work on an assignment (you get used to the sound)...

Where are you at where there is the sound of military jets in the background?

I am in Labrador (Eastern Canada) and there is an air force base here, they practise low level flying most of the summer and will soon be stopping for the winter....it gets pretty loud at times!

Oh wow, Nugget! I am so envious. Property over here is just ridiculously expensive. I saw this thing in the paper the other day where they compared what type of house you can get for a certain budget - and for the teenie 1/2 bedroom type of house my fiance and I are looking at (with an equally teeny garden!), we could get a large 3-bedroom house with a large garden in Florida! SOOO not fair!

You look out my window and see houses - we live in the city. The trees are turning colors and the one across the street turns red. We have beautiful weather right now - blue sky and full sun and 80 degrees. This is welcome weather, since last week we had to wear winter coats and turn our heat on.

I'm sitting at my desk at work, its a VERY slow day. I have the door open and look out at a pretty tree in the parking lot. Dreaming of going home and working in my garden, my spring bulbs just arrived and I'm itching to plant them before it gets cold here in Michigan again! But today its BEAUTIFUL, sunny and 79 degrees!

Where I'm sitting now at my desk in the office....
To my left.... I see the tops of the trees.... one is all green, the other is all brown... I also see the tops of two houses with the chimneys that I'm sure will soon have clouds of smoke (it is getting cold here at night).... I can see a small area of blue sky between two pillows of white clouds.
To my right I can see two green bushes and two different rose bushes....(one orange and one dark pink) moving back and fourth in the wind. The sun is just starting to break through the cloud.....but I watch it get brighter and then darker and then lighter again..... it is defiantly fall. Then I see just a small part of a church with stain glass windows....
And above me.... yes, that is right...above me I have a sky light.... I just see a dirty bubble of glass!!
