White turkey meat? YUK! It's dry as a bone. Give me dead cow carcass instead. Truly, what's the attraction?
I have 12 pounds of turkey that is going into turkey samiches, turkey tetrazzini, turkey pot pies, and my dog's food dish.
I'm grateful that Turkey Day comes once a year, and only once a year. Now I know why they gave me this free bird at the grocery store -- who'd want it?!
I think I'm the only one who walks away from the Thanksgiving table still hungry and wondering what the big deal over The Bird is all about....
Next year, I'm serving charcoal-BBQ hamburgers.

I LOVE white meat Turkey! Long before IBS I have always liked white meat when the Turkey comes around, and hate hate hated dark meat.
Although, if BBQ'd hamburgers were an option... I might choose the hamburger after this long without it. Although ground turkey does make a mean meatloaf and BBQ'd turkey burgers, so at least I still have some yumminess!
White meat with cranberries and sauce? Mmmmm, so good...
