... getting hit on by someone who looked like he's nearing his thirties. I swear... if I get hit on by one more guy this week, someone is going to get hurt.

that a 30 yr. old would hit on me. You must be young. I'm going to be 58 (ouch) on the 30th. Anybody hitting on me at this age would be doing it with his cane.

I don't know how old you are, sweetie, but as you get older, the years of difference between two people becomes less and less important. I would consider it a compliment and move on.

Okay, if he asked if you were 18, I can see being creeped out. But less than a decade in ages apart isn't unheard of.

I wouldn't worry about it - there are always 30-something guys out there trolling for undergrads - it was more just your turn to be the person hit on, I wouldn't take it personally. Watch Dazed and Confused if you haven't already seen it.
