Okay, so I'm having a hard time with my Fibro atm and I have one of my rare periods, so I feel extra crummy atm. When Si calls up to say he's going to have dinner with friends after worl and so not come home till late, I kinda went "sod it" and got myself a pizza. Yup, a full-blown cheesy, oily pizza.
So what that I can handle one when I'm really stable? I'M NOT STABLE TODAY! I'm such a doofus. Urgh. Now my stomach hurts as well.
Can I have the (self) pity hat please? Or do I just get the dunce's one?
Okay, so maybe I'll go do SOMETHING sensible and make some fennel tea.

Don't beat yourself up for this one. Even IBS folks are human!
I'm sorry the Fibro is bad today. And I hope the retribution for the pizza is not that bad. Oh, now I want pizza! It's been years!
Take care, dear Linz!

we all do things like that. In fact I did too last night, made a beef roast with gravy and all. Boy am I paying today. Don't be hard on yourself, staying on the diet can be tough, then when you throw emotional stuff in the mix, well....you know what happens. On the bright side, be glad you know how to come out of it and can pass that on to others...:) Hope you feel better soon, Alyson

Hmm, well I've had some Fennel & Lavender tea and the bloating has stopped getting worse. Now I can't tell if the tummy ache is IBS, period pain or just Fibro!
But, oh boy, does my tum feel yucky. Think tomorrow I'll be C and gassy. Good thing I'm alone in my van for much of tomorrow ...I can just crank down the window!

Yeah, I'm definitely one to say "do what I say, NOT what I do". LOL!
Hubby is still MIA at his mates. Well, I'm in my PJs with wet hair from my bath, so if he's been drinking & wants picking up he's outta luck! At least I've have my (finally sleepy) puppy for company!

Don't be too hard on yourself, Linz!! We all do that!! In fact, I just did the exact same thing the other day!! I haven't had anything "bad" in ages and my stomach has still been really crappy (literally, hee hee) and I thought the same "sod it" and ordered pizza. I was actually okay the next day, a little crampy but no worse than any other day but I thought I had better stop there before my luck runs out!
I definitely think you deserve the pity hat, nobody should have to feel yucky!! I hope the tea helps!!
**hugs** --Steph

Yep, been there too! Summer is the worst for me with picnics. I eat every kind of dip that is imaginable. Cream cheese and sour cream do me in! and what are those dips usually made of??? Yep, cream cheese and sour cream!!! I LOVE dips. Spinnach dip is my fav. I can't resist. I pay severely though the next day! Sometimes it's just worth the aggrevation. It's only temporary so look at it that way. YOu'll be feeling better tomorrow Hang in there.

OMG, have we ALL not been there, done that? Oh yeah!
Girl, you're not a "doofus" (LOVE that expression!), just normal. I'm always pushing the limit! I even tried ice cream once, thinking I could "counter-act" it with a little lactose pill. Can you believe it? DUH. Talk about a "DOOFUS"!
Uh.... what the heck does "sod it" mean? We need an update on our translation list.

Oh, Linz, you're human.
I'm feeling pretty human, today, too--Canadian Thanksgiving. I consumed some moo products and I'm chained to the toilet all night. So, I think I was a wee bit possessed by the sacred cow as well...
Having re-experienced the cow, I now want more and will be craving moo foods for awhile. I'm such a doofus, too.
Was it worth it? Well...uh, kind of--but not exactly?
Oh, I forgot to mention the ten plus cups of coffee and diet coke and well...need I go on? I'm wired for sound and my bowels are too.
One positive note--I participated in festivities--most rare for an agoraphobe like me...but then again, I was on prescription drugs. That's probably why I wasn't as 'cautious.'
Hugs...
Kate.

and I haven't had red meat since May 2001! Even prime rib had crossed my mind!
I know that I am safe because I would probably throw up if I put any in my mouth but these cravings have been oh so strange!
A greasy cheese pizza? Now that sounds WONDERFUL!
