Good morning...(or afternoon)
My husband and I went out on a "date" Friday night and saw Kevin Costners new movie "Open Range". We really enjoyed it. Although I think any movie with Kevin Costner in it is a good one.
Anyone else seen it?

My boyf and I saw it, but I'm afraid we didn't like it at all. It was so slooow and melodramatic. The next weekend we went to see _Whale Rider_. THAT was a good movie. In fact, several coworkers had also seen it that same weekend. So it comes highly recommended by a bunch of us.

Hi PaintLady....
I got started in Graphic Design when I decided to attend one of the Art Institutes. I always new I wanted to do something in the art field and thought that Graphic Design would be a more "stable" job market than fine art....even though I longed for doing fine art and selling prints. I didn't know how to get into the fine art market so I did drawing as a "hobby" on the side and for my own enjoyment.
I work for a company now as a Graphic Designer and have in the past worked for an Ad Agency as well as freelanced out of my home. I gave up the freelancing though when most of what I made went to paying taxes. I also wanted more of my "free time" back.
What type of work do you do? Do you do fine art? If so how would you suggest getting work that I do sold (portraits and wildlife drawings). Also...how do you make time for your art? I find that now that I am married with other priorities, my artwork has taken a back seat. I miss it.
Good luck.
