I called to her B&B (it is soo cool!) and we took a bus to the city centre and passed a lot of the sights that I pointed out to her. Then we fed her with some smoked salmon and good Irish fare in a restaurant in Temple Bar, then went to a pub and she had a pint of Guinness. Day one of Nelly's Dublin trip over, Sinead signing out exhausted and so wishing that I could take the days off to wander around the city with Nelly & Natalie

I HAVE ARRIVED! Let me tell you, Ireland is so beautiful and the people are just so nice and so friendly! On that note, Sinead is a doll, and it was incredible to see her in person and hang out her with last night! She was so patient showing me around and we covered a lot of ground! And for dinner we went to the Elephant & Castle and I had just the best smoked salmon...! I even loaded up on the meds and splurged with an apple tart and a couple bites of homemade ice cream which was soo thick it was worth the cheating!!
Today I started out the day at the b&b with (more) salmon (LOL!) and scrambled eggs for brekkie. Tummy's behaving extremely well, so I don't want to push it!  I'm at an Internet cafe right now, just having bought myself some incredibly intricate and delicate silver jewelery. I took a stroll through the (consulting map ) St. Stephen's Green garden this morning and sat and watched the ducks lazily paddle around, all the while thinking "Hm, Irish ducks." They looked like they were on holiday too, kinda aimlessly floating in the green pond, and I sat there watching them and breathing in the cold crisp air thinking, "I am so lucky."
The weather here is cool and the humidity is very low. (!!!) Yesterday it was super bright, 72 degrees, not a cloud in the sky. Today promises close to the same!
So I've bought myself an Irish sim card to pop into my American phone so I can better reach Sinead and my English friends. So I have an Irish phone number! So cool the technology here! I'm about to hop a bus and toil around the city for a while. It's 10:31am and I have the whole day in front of me. Soooo nice!!!
I hope you're all joining me in spirit! We are missing Linz (making sad face) but are expecting Natalie on Thursday, and we should all have a great time once we're all together. I brought over 50 luna bars to split between the two of them, so I can't wait to suprise Natalie! (Nat if you're reading this, act surprised.)

You are SOOOOOOO lucky. #1 to be in Ireland and #2 to meet Sinead. I'm sure she is a complete doll like you said.
The Irish ducks cracked me up! That was too funny. Sounds like the weather is just gorgeous. Please, take lots of pictures and post them!!!
