Has anyone tried Self Hypnosis......

And did it work? I'm getting ready to go to the Dr. for the 2nd time in 2 years. My first Dr. didn't help at all and left me to fend for myself...that's no longer working.
I've prepared my list of questions and printed off the list of tests that should be performed (from this site). I'm so affraid to be given the wrong treatment!!! I have also read some of your fears & conserns and I'm right there with you!
Just wanted to ask if the hypnosis was worth a try or not & if anyone had positive feedback?

Check out the "Hypnosis for IBS" board if you mean the CD's when you say self-hypnosis.

You can't....I do it all the time..HaHa
No really, that's what they called it on this site...IBS Audio Program 100tm (Self Hypnosis).
I saw the message board for Hypnosis after I posted in Living Room. I'll check there!
