I agree about it being weird with a bunch of people you know getting married! I'm 22, and I know two couples the same age getting married next month, plus I've heard about a lot of people I graduated high school with getting married this summer. And my best girl friend got engaged this weekend (but she's not getting married until Fall '07 because she doesn't want to even start planning the wedding until after we graduate in June '06). It makes me feel old and kinda weird since I'm not really in any rush to get married myself.

I don't know if I would say I got married young, I was 22 and my husband was 23. I guess that's young to others. I knew I was making the right decision at the right time, so the chronological age I was didn't really affect anything.

I had a friend who got married when she was 19. They are still together (ulp) 14 years later. Me, on the other hand, I cannot imagine being married at 19 or even in my early 20s. I still had a lot of confidence to gain and a lot to learn about myself at that age. I didn't get married until I was 32, and even then, it was sort of a surprise because I'd always figured I'd never get married at all!

Thanks Michele!!  I've decided I really like wearing yellow now. I never thought it would be my color. I think it also really depends on the shade of it too. Stores like the Gap kept coming out with highlighter yellow colors in things and those definitely weren't for me.

I think there's some wedding bug going around and biting people. I for one do not want to be bit yet!
It's weird too cause I'm like you and definitely in no rush to get married yet, but sitting there dateless at a wedding sure is weird!

Thanks Tina!! I was appalled at what some people wore to the wedding though. I guess that's what you get when most of the guests are college-aged. But one girl was wearing dirty white cheap flip flops with her dress. And some were dressed way to trashy. Amazing.
