FL Sure glad you went to the ER. My family has a history of kidney stones (not me yet). In the last year I've taken my husband, son, daughter and grand daughter to the ER passing stones. All of them had a CAT scan at the ER that showed exactly where the offending stone was adn that each of them still had stones in their kidneys, not yet entered the urethra. The good news was that as soon as the stone passed the pain instantly went away.
