It's strange to be at work on my birthday! I guess they aren't so special once you pass 21. I am 24 and trying to focus on everything I have accomplished in my life, but I still feel like I'm nowhere near where I pictured I'd be by 24. I definitely thought I'd be married and probably pregnant, living in the 'burbs. Oh well, it's like Cara's profile says ... If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans!
I'm also bummed because my bf is in London and I'm here. I've spent my last 3 birthdays with him so I'm cranky. Hopefully he'll send some pretty flowers. He's coming to visit in 3 weeks so I guess we'll just celebrate then!
I've been keeping up with your appointments and whatnot. I know you must be feeling so frustrated, but I just figure it has to work soon. Getting pregnant has not been the problem for you in the past, and now that you know how to make your body stay pregnant, I know you'll have a baby soon.

Sorry BF is out of town...but I'm sure he's just as bummed as you are. 
I can't believe your only 24! You are so much wiser and have a good head on your shoulders for such a young woman!
And yeah, birthdays as adults sure aren't like when we were kids, are they! Whoever made up the rule that birthdays are more for kids was so wrong!

Thanks, of COURSE I'm doing something fun tonight. Don't be silly! I wish my bf were here, and actually a lot of my friends are out of town, but it should be fun anyway. I love karaoke, and I go pretty often anyway, so I figured why not. There should be a good group there, so I'm sure it will be a fun time.

Hey chica.. I know how you feel about not being where you thought you would be!!
I'll be 24 in 16 days too darling, and spent the other night crying to my grandma about how much I haven't accomplished.
anyways she said "Ashley! are you crazy!! you've finished college, moved out on your own, held down a job, got your masters degree, you're working towards your specialist, you're smart blaablaa.." So insert Amanda in there and you've done the same!!
haha we'll be the wicked smart married with children ladies in the burbs.. only a few years later than expected.
