Hey Brittany, thanks! Yup, I am definitely making time to celebrate tonight, don't worry! I got together with my family this weekend for my bday. I got really good stuff! My parents gave me a pretty bracelet and are helping me buy a chair I've had my eye on for a while. My brothers and SILs got me a gorgeous set of nesting end tables, Arabic style, all inlaid wood with intricate patterns. I have a real middle-eastern ecclectic vibe in my apartment, and they are going to be perfect! I'm very excited. The bf probably sent flowers (I've been at work all day, so who knows), but he's coming to visit in August and I said he has to actually go to the store and pick something out for me. I don't care if it's 10 bucks. He's so hard to shop for, and I spend so much time choosing things I hope he'll like, that I don't want him taking the easy way out with flowers. I want him to spend time thinking about what I like! That being said, I do love flowers too, so I hope he still sent them!

I really am trying hard to enjoy my 20's. I just feel like I'm not ready to be mid-twenties, I guess. Oh well. If I'm still living alone next year (ie, not married to my bf or even engaged) I'm going to throw a tremendous hissy fit. Until then I'll try to enjoy the fact that I'm only responsible for myself for now!
