Hi Tim; I believe you are right about the weekends. I am the same. I think it is because there is not much stress and it is more relaxing unless something comes up such as travelling or an event. Have you asked your Dr. about an anti depressant? I know some of the people here are taking them, and it seems to help with their anxiety. I do not take any, as it is my choice. Just keeping thinking this episode will be over & I can get on with my weekly routine. Take care Sue

Hi Tim,

I am sorry to hear you are having such a tough time with anxiety when venturing out.

I can say I have somewhat the same problem going to the mall, must be the air in there, but everytime I get there I am scoping out the washrooms.

I really have no advice, but wanted to offer my encouragement. It will get better once you are more stable you will have faith in the diet. But it is also great you on with hypno it has helped alot of people deal with their anxiety.

I hope things work out better for you,
Feel free to vent here anytime

Take care and keep us posted,

Hi Tim...

Feel free to vent here anytime. I know, I've done my share of venting and it does help a lot.

Your frustrations sound so familiar to me. I know the feeling of the anxiety of going out in fear of having an attack away from the comfort of your own home. You will eventually find what works for you. For me it helps if I have my mind on something other than my tummy. I try not to think about it (as hard as that may seem to do) and think about something else that I enjoy. For instance if I am standing in line at the grocery store and start feeling some anxiety, I'll just "take a trip" in my mind to a place I enjoy very much....our property in the mountains. Or I will imagine myself at home where I am comfortable. I hope this helps.

Feel free to vent any time. That's what we are all here for....to support each other. We were all brought together here for a reason.

I see you are from Australia. I would love to visit your country some day. I am from Wyoming.

Best wishes!
