I am soooooooooooo proud of you! I almost had to check myself in several times while you were gone...but I hung in until my next therapy session and my psychiatric evaluation. BUT I knew if I had to check myself in...I would just follow in your footsteps (well, try to...you are so VERY brave I don't know if I could have done it like you!)

I have OCD and bipolar as well. the original diagnosis of a bipolar variant may not be right after all (forgot to tell the doc..cause I forgot...that I've hopped on a plane before, spent loads of money, and other things as well )

you DID IT! You got help! And you helped me and I'm sure others as well to get help! Thanks to your bravery my pscyhiatry appointment came with a bit less anxiety *hugs*

I love you so much Alicia *hugs* We might BOTH be on meds for life (likely it is), but we deserve happiness and stability!

I'd like to make a toast! To Alicia...a brave, strong, loving, sweet-as-stevia (now THAT'S a compliment!), funny, intelligent, great mom and wife, woman! TO ALICIA!

We love you......thank G-d you are okay...thank G-d for your hubby and children...and thnk G-d you are HOME safe and still YOU!

Love,

Ruchie

Doing the happy dance for ya Alicia! Nothing like getting home from hospital.

And definitely kudos to you for making that call. You are one strong, brave lady and a GREAT MOMMY. Never forget that, okay? It was scary you saying you thought you were a bad mom when you're obviously so great at it!

Now lots of baby steps and look after yourself! That'll be the best way to look after that precious family of yours.

Continued prayers and support during this time. My very best friend from all my childhood was diagnosed BP last year, and she almost didn't make it to the hospital because she waited to late to ask for help. I'm soooo glad you got the meds you needed!
