Another great book!

I just finished the best book. It's "My Sister's Keeper"
by Jodi Picoult. It's about a 13-year-old girl who was conceived as a bone marrow match for her sister who has leukemia. It addresses the ethical and moral decisions this family has to make, as their two daughters faced opposing medical interests. But most of all, it's about parents' love for their children.

I simply could NOT put this book down! You will not believe the ending!

You gotta read this one! (Another great read for those of you who are parents---and those trying to conceive.)

By the way, Target chose this book as the first in its "Bookmarked Book Club."

I just finished "In the Skin of a Lion" by Michael Ondaatje -- definitely one of the best novels I've ever read in my entire life. I've never read Ondaatje before, only having seen and not particularly liked The English Patient. Reading this totally makes up for it though -- his writing is absolutely fantastic.
