Root Canal tomorrow morning

Hi all,
So I am getting pretty nervous about my root canal tomorrow.
I picked up my prescription for adavan the other day, and it says to take 2 before my appointment. My dentist said to bring the rest to my appointment and there are 8 other tablets, so I dunno how much of this stuff I am gonna have to take!
Adrian will be gone for 14 hours tomorrow, so I'm all on my own so that sucks. Hopefully I can just sleep.
Last night I lay on the couch until 5 o'clock in the morning 'cause I couldn't sleep, hopefully I'll get some sleep tonight or I know I will be in a state tomorrow.. and my tummy will too!
I dunno what I did exactly, but I used weights yesterday and whatever I did just killed my shoulder and every time I move my arm I get sharp pains right down my arm and it's SO painful.. I hope that doesn't keep me up!
I'll let you all know how it goes, wish me luck!!

I posted a while back on B-vitmains and their help for pain re. dental work...not sure if you saw it?

I'm sure you'll do just fine Steph. I'll be thinking about you tomorrow and fingers crossed all goes quickly, smoothly and painlessly. ((((HUGS))))). Try and get some sleep. You really need some. Let us know how you are as soon as you feel up to posting

Stephie you worry too much - you will do fine. My dentist told me people worry more than they need to. Remember your tooth is dead, so the procedure shouldn't be too painful.
I had a root canal a few months ago after cracking my tooth on a popcorn seed (I know one of the deadly foods we shouldn't eat!  )and my gum was sore afterwards.

Good luck to you and let us know how it goes. I know how scary it is to get a root canal so I feel for you!! Actually anytime I have to see the dentist my tummy goes crazy....doesn't everyone hate the dentist??

but I can tell you that a root canal is the one procedure that the most patients fall asleep to while in the chair! I think the worst part is the anticipation!!! It's a really boring procedure, and should be quite painless!!! Good luck and I hope you and your tummy pass with flying colors!
