Got my nipples pierced on SUnday and they STILL hurt.
Worst pain I have ever felt, if I knew it was that bad, I wouldn't have done it. The second one is the worse because you already know how bad it will hurt. Especially with the heat (which I don't handle well), I almost passed out and threw up. Good thing I have such an AWESOME piercer that was very sympathetic and spoiled me like I was at a spa or something with water and putting my feet up and my very own fan heheehee
My mom must be soooo proud that her daughter has so much metal sticking out of her right now! 
My next one is the back of my neck, once he gets in the right barbell for it.

how many peircings do you have?
i've only got my belly button and I've had it for almost 6 years so i don't even remember if it hurt... I think it felt like a beesting.. but was over fast.

I have a friend with the back of his neck done, it looks pretty out-there. I was going to say "enjoy", but I guess that won't be for a while after it's done!

I agree YOWWWCCCHHHH! I admire you for your strength and guts. There's no WAY I'd have it in me to have this done! I had my nose done when I was 18 and after feeling like I'd been punched in the nose have chickened out of any other piercings (although I would like my eyebrow done but couldn't be bothered cause then I'd have to take it out to wax them ). Enjoy them when they stop hurting

Ouch, I'd never get that done. I had some friends that had it done and they ended up taking them out.

haha, yeah... I am on myspace, to talk to all my friends during the day cause they are too, I posted a bulletin to let everyone know I did get it done, and I added "to answer the question all the girls will ask me, yeah, it hurt really f----ing bad."

Well, if you count ear holes (which I hate to do) it is eleven right now. here is the breakdown (yes, I am very bored today)....
3 x 2 Ears (three holes in both lobes)
2- facial piercings (left eyebrow and right side monroe beauty mark piercing)
3- body piercings (navel and both nipples)
for a Grand total of 12 piercings! If you count my one facial one I removed after like a couple days (didn't heal right), I have had 12 needles stuck in me. The one I removed was my labret, it goes in the space between your chin and your lower lip.
oh, and + 1 pending piercings, for when Iget the neck done, I might even call my piercer today to see if the jewelry is in.
just like tattoos, they are addicting! I think even more so, since you can always take it out and go back to 'normal'... only thing is that I think the pain is 100x more for piercings than tattoos.

When you take a piercing out, does the hole fill in completely or can you still tell a hole was there? I've always wanted my belly button done when I was younger and skinner!! LOL!! No need to draw extra attention to my belly now though! HEHE

Yeah, I am kinda not sure why I did it, cause everyone that I know, guys and girls, that have gotten it done have eventually taken them out, so it can't be all that great to have...
we will see how long they last!

It can be cute but to me it's not worth it. Sorry.
At least you CAN take them out. The only thing is, what do you do with the jewellery? It might not fit ear piercings?

I took my belly button ring out a long time ago, and you can still see the ugly hole  My stomach looks awful now with that hole and all the surgery scars!

I have had my belly button pierced twice. It didn't heal correctly the first and the second time I realized that I was allergic to the metal and probably was the first time as well. I took both out and the hole closed. It have tiny scars that look like dots, but they both healed.

hmmm... I think I just consider the left over jewelry to be an expensive of the actual piercing. The jewelry would fit in an ear, but I think it would look bad. So, I would either put them in a memory box along with old expensive jewelry recieved as gifts from ex bfs, or give it to a friend to sterilize and use if they needed a replacement.
I have old labret jewelry that I just have stored away, and I have given spare eyebrow rings away, since mine migrated I can only wear a hoop, not a barbell in it.
I think the nipple one might be the same as a hoop for a bellybutton, or close to it, but I have a curved barbell in mine and like that more.

Ummm, never had one before so I don't know!
i would say yes, cause I am pretty tough when it comes to handling pain, but I have NEVER felt something like that EVER. And I can't imagine it, either.
But then again, people handle different things differently, Like, some people cry during tattoos, I think it is the most relaxing feeling in the world. But ANY piercing hurts like a b*&&% to me. I thought my belly button was alot of pain til I got these done!
