Hi all,

It's me again!

I went for the gastric empty study last wk, which was fine. I've also had an endo and colonoscopy, plus a cat scan.

My problem is that I can have severe D for 2 days, and then I go to my regular Dr. for something else, and he feels my stomach and says that I'm full of stool! How can that be the very next day? Has anyone had this problem?

Also, is anyone from Long Island or NYC and can recommend a good gastro Dr?

Thanks,
Carol

It's possible to have C, but think you have D as that's all that can get past the impacted stool! Lovely, huh? I HATE getting that...it's everything at once.

Dr. Gary Weissman is great! 516-622-6076. He's in Lake Success, NY. He did my colonoscopy and spent a lot of time explaining things to me. I was scared to death...I avoided having one for several years in spite of terrible symptoms and he convinced me and reassured me to the point where I felt comfortable doing it.
