I will....it's in a couple hours. It's actually just with the nurse practitioner...the doctor will be there in the office, but I don't know if he'll be able to talk to me long, if at all But hopefully I'll get SOME kind of answer...and a date for my sonogram to find out the sex! That'll keep me going...

I'm really happy with this doctor's office!! They are great. They are going to take over with the bloodwork for my pancreas, so I don't have to keep driving around to different offices...so they did another test today and I'll get the results Friday.
In the meantime they ordered an abdominal sonogram for tommorrow afternoon just to check and make sure everything is ok up there by my pancreas. They won't be able to tell if there's a stone blocking the duct, but they say the chances of that are very low.

SO - at least things are moving, and they are taking care of everything. They said that if something should go wrong with my pancreas and these tests, they will find a GI doctor for me.
They also gave me a new prescription for the vomiting - Mecligine? So I'm going to try that tonight and forget the Zofran. Although if this is my pancreas than nothing will help with the vomiting.

I am doing a little better, ever since I changed my diet a little and cut out a lot of fat. I am still very nausous at night, and still throwing up sometimes, but not nearly as bad as last week. So I guess that's a good sign!

I also have a date for my sonogram where we find out the sex! It's on July 13th, so I'm very excited for that.

Thanks everyone for helping me with this, I am so grateful to all of you!!! I am so glad I switched doctors, SOOO GLAD!

ARen't good docs so reassuring?

Hopefully the new med will help. And the low-fat diet should help whatever as fats are so bad GI wise.

Only 2 weeks 2 days till you know the sex! How incredibly exciting. Have you guys thought of names yet?

Hiya,

I have read all your posts and I just wanted to say how much I've felt for you! I can't imagine being as sick as you've been, and not being totally sure why. You are so tough to go through all this, I'm so inspired!
I haven't written back to some of the other posts 'cause I just didn't know what to say that everyone else hadn't already said.
I am so happy you have finally gotten some good news, though, it was so great to see a post with all the smiley faces! I really am glad that you have a new doctor that you like, that can make all the difference!
Keep us updated, can't wait to see your pregnant tummy pictures!!
Good luck,
--Steph

I'm so glad you liked this doctor's office---and that the visit went well. At least they are running tests to make sure everything is ok.

Hopefully, this new medicine will get you feeling better!!!

Good luck! Aren't you glad you switched doctors? That other one was ugly to you, and there's no reason to put up with that.
