Hi all,

Help! I've posted here before and am having quite a problem, despite following Heather's diet. The problem is that I can't find a balance w/the meds that my Dr. has me on; it's either extreme C or D (w/pain), and no happy medium. I'm trying to find a balance here.

Has anyone had this problem and/or have any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Carol

Are you on a SFS? I've found Acacia very helpful for my A-ness.

And what meds are you on?

Linz,

I've been taking Equalactin, and I was going to try Digestive Advantage, which is fairly new. Is the Acacia better?

The meds I'm on for this are Pamine, Asacol, and (when needed) Imodium.

Thanks,
Carol

Acacia seems to have had best results on A's than other SFSs....not everyone, but many of us have loved it.

The DA is mainly a digestive enzyme and a probiotic. Do a search on this, it's come up alot in the "eating for IBS" forum lately.
